Challenge 17: Brads & Eyelets

Hi everyone! Time for another challenge. This week we've picked the theme 'Brads & Eyelets'- Use brads or eyelets or both! This week the design team were given some really cute Maggie Stamps to try out from Bootiful Stampz .
It's up to you what you make, perhaps: a Card, Tag, ATC, Skinny, Scrapbook page, Fatbook Page (4x4) Gothic Arch, Moo Mini card, Skinny, Inchie or Altered art. Leave us a link to your blog so we can all see all your hard work!

Congratulations to Peikkotyttö you have won last week's prize! Please email us your details and we will get your prize in the post to you!

This week's Prize, is supplied by Bootiful Stampz we have
2 Maggie stamps- Flower Top Maggie and Dungarees Maggie to give away. Everyone who takes part in this week's challenge will be entered and 2 lucky peoples names will be selected at random winning 1 stamp each!

We will announce the winner next week. (Good luck!)

Kate, Wendy, Lesley, Fifi, Becky & Jo

~~~~~~~~~
Card
I stamped 'Dress & Bow Maggie' from 'Bootiful Stampz' with black stazon. Then watercoloured her in and added a gem to the flower in her hair. I then stamped the "once upon a time by Heidi Grace. Ribbon was then passed through two eyelets. And a large flower added with a checked brad.
~~~~~~~~~

Bookmark
I stamped the gorgeous 'dungarees Maggie' from Bootiful Stampz our sponsor for this week onto white card with black archival ink. Maggie is coloured with prismacolor pencils and sansodor and a touch of red glitter, I then cut her out. I cut a strip of pearescent white card to size then embossed it with the CB hearts folder. I glued Maggie to the bottom of the card. Using red paper I die cut the letters. I cut out the heart from red paper and attached a gold heart brad to the centre. I arranged the letters onto the card. I laminated the strip of card and then attached an eyelet at the top and threaded this with red ribbon

Card
I stamped 'Party Maggie' onto patterned paper and pieced her together. I then highlighted areas with distress inks and a white gel pen. I matted her onto patterned paper and surrounded her with 10 flowers using 8 brads and 2 eyelets! I finished the card with a hand written 'hippy chick' greeting.
~~~~~~~~~
Card
I covered the card in backing paper, stamped the 'Maggie Heart T-Shirt' image and coloured her in, adding some Stickles to the heart and hair. I then attached the image with eyelets to a mat then added to the card. I stamped a Happy Birthday message, and finished off with some Primas with heart brads in the centres.
~~~~~~~~~

Card
I made a circle shape card. I used this beautiful 'Flower top Maggie' stamp by Bootiful Stampz. I coloured her in with watercolours & distress inks. I drew a patten of hearts, swirls and flowers and stuck lots of silver beads on. The papers I used were purple card stock and Basic grey: Perhaps - Beatrice. I drew some stitching around the edges and used distress inks around the edges of my card. I embellished with white ribbon and paper flowers and some bronze brads.
~~~~~~~~
Card
This week we were given a stamp from the Bootiful Stampz range to use alongside the challenge of *Brads and/or Eyelets! * This was a fab stamp 'Red Riding Maggie' and I have had a look at some of the other images - I am definitely into 'cute' and my wish list has just got a lot longer! For my card I have used background papers from the Cute Companion CD and the JS Fashion Boutique CD. My image has been coloured with pens and I have embellished with white lace, Prima flowers, stamped leaves, gems and *Diamanté brads* adorn the photo corners.
