MTTC #486 Theme is Christmas in July

MTTC #486 Theme is Christmas in July

Whether or not you participate in our specific Christmas challenge sister blog (MTTCC) or not, many other challenge blogs do a Christmas holiday emphasis in July.

So this theme is open to any Christmas/wintery topic you want. Topics explored at MTTCC this year have been Nativity, Angels, Trees, Bells, Fireplace and/or Stockings, Sled/Sleighs, Wreaths, Candles/Lanterns, and Christmas Carols/Songs. Lots more are possible and combinations are great, too.

Let's all find time to craft Christmas in July!

July 15-28, 2022

6am UK or 12am CST/Chicago are 2 times zones we share for when competition starts and also ends. Adjust accordingly to wherever you are in the world.

MTTC #485 Theme is Vegetables

 MTTC #485 Theme is Vegetables

Competition runs from 1 July 2022 to 14 July 2022

Start and end days' times are the same= 6:00am UK or 12:00am Central Time/Chicago

If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, summer season is prime growing, so think about making your project about a garden scene, or farmer's market/produce stall, a picnic, etc. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, winter season may not be prime growing season for you but you might want to show a harvest table setting or feature late season produce common to your country.

There's always vegetable soup. It could be a Halloween/harvest card showing pumpkins, squash, cornstalks, etc. Our blog followers are a very creative resourceful group. I'm sure the DT will be amazed by the entries!!

MTTC Top 3 Picks for Theme #484 Fruits

Thanks to the 7 crafters who participated in MTTC's #484 Fruit Theme Challenge!

Competition ended earlier today June 30.

New theme challenge #485 starts in less than 1.5 hours from this post releasing!

DT member Mags selected these 3 crafters' creations for our Top 3 bragging rights!

In order of submission:
#2= Andrea Norris

#5= Donna Walls

#7= Lorraine A.

We appreciate all who participated for this theme! The variety of projects was enjoyable to see. I know I kept thinking "oh that's a good idea".

It will be interesting how artisans will interpret the next theme! It's a great summer topic but there are also some terrific possibilities to do other seasonal twists on this.

Also if you have time to craft Christmas, visit our sister blog, My Time To Craft Christmas, where the theme for 1 more week is using a Christmas carol/hymn/song...secular or religious...show the sheet music, a song title, partial lyric, etc. Make it Christmas/winter holiday.
