Challenge 4: Flower Power!

Hi everyone! Thankyou for taking part in last week's challenge! This week's challenge is - Flower Power! Use flower embellishments, rubber stamps, perhaps floral paper, or anything you can think of to do with flowers. The design team have been busy making some ideas for you. We hope you have fun with this challenge!

Kate, Lesley & Wendy

~~~~~~~~~~
Card
For my card I decided to use a large bloom. I have removed the plastic center piece from a silk flower deco and used the largest layer of bloom on my card. I have also cut lengths of matching satin ribbon and laid them on top, securing them to the flower with silicon glue. The center is a stamped circle greeting and that just finishes the whole thing off and keeps it tidy. The bloom has then been mounted onto a piece of patterned paper that has been inked around the edges.
~~~~~~~~~~

Card
I stamped some flower images with a Versamark ink pad and clear embossed them, then wiped over the card with Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord and Mustard Seed Distress Inks, and stamped a few little flowers in between. Then I stamped a flower image by Artistic Stamper in Distress Inks and embossed it, stamped round the edges and matted and layered it on the card together with the message.

~~~~~~~~~~
Card For this card I used my Tilda stamp and a selection of papers - Basic Grey 'Mellow', brown cardstock, and some floral yellow paper free in a magazine. I watercoloured the Tilda with watercolour pencils. I used my Crop-a-dile tool to clip on some eyelets and then threaded them through with white string. I embellished the card with some yellow flowers (with centred eylets) and adhesive pearls - Gun metal . I finished off by drawing freehand stiches along the edges of the Tilda design.
